Based in Lebanon, NH, Richard J. Driscoll, Consulting Engineer (RJDCE) provides consulting structural and foundation engineering services to owners, design professionals, contractors and other construction project stakeholders. The practice utilizes a broad base of experience and knowledge to assist clients balance performance, cost and risk on projects subject to uncertainty.
Primarily a boutique practice, RJDCE provides specialty services, such as analysis and design of temporary structures for construction, foundation elements, underpinning, excavation support and other geostructural systems; design of temporary structures for construction; “site-structural” engineering for urban sites; forensic investigations; assessment of in-service structures and construction risk management. In addition, RJDCE provides general structural engineering services locally.
RJDCE’s knowledge and experience can be applied to projects throughout much of the northeast and mid-Atlantic regions, particularly in metropolitan areas. Since 2015, RJDCE has been engaged for projects in New Hampshire, Vermont, New York City, the Hudson Valley and the Boston, Washington, DC and Baltimore metro areas. RJDCE’s location near the “Crossroads of Northern New England” facilitates road, rail and air travel to visit clients and project sites, when necessary.
