Richard J. Driscoll, Consulting Engineer (RJDCE) provides consulting structural and foundation engineering, as well as forensic and risk management services to owners, design professionals, contractors and other construction project stakeholders in the northeast and mid-Atlantic regions.
RJDCE’s core specialty areas are:
- “Site-structural engineering,” the structural, geotechnical and construction engineering necessary to build on urban sites while managing risk to adjacent facilities.
- Foundations, earth retention, below-ground structures and geostructural systems;
- Assessment of existing structures and construction-related forensic investigations;
- Design of temporary structures and delegated design elements, and other engineering and risk management services for construction contractors.
RJDCE utilizes a broad base of experience and knowledge to assist clients balance performance, cost and risk on projects subject to uncertainty. In addition, RJDCE provides general structural engineering services locally.
Since 2015, RJDCE has supported projects in New Hampshire, Vermont, New York City, the Hudson Valley and the Boston, Washington, DC and Baltimore metro areas. Based in Lebanon, NH, RJDCE’s location near the “Crossroads of Northern New England” facilitates road, rail and air travel to visit clients and project sites, when necessary.
